ONCOLOGY MASSAGE
Oncology massage is a specialized, medically-informed form of bodywork designed to safely support individuals who are undergoing cancer treatment or are in recovery. Unlike traditional massage, this approach is adapted to the unique needs, sensitivities, and medical conditions associated with cancer and its treatments. At Concept Spa Therapies, oncology massage is performed with a deep understanding of the physical and emotional challenges that patients experience throughout their journey.
Important Medical Clearance Notice
Clients currently undergoing Chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or other active cancer treatment are required to provide medical clearance from their oncologist or treating physician before receiving oncology massage or manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD).
This Allows us to safely adapt your session to your current treatment, precautions, and individuals needs.
